About the role

As Senior Software Engineer, you will work in a close-knit team of highly dedicated engineers to solve complex challenges at the root of Staking Rewards and the staking industry at large.

We collate and collect data from hundreds of blockchains, each with its own data structure and economic model. You will design and implement a system that is capable of aggregating, indexing, and presenting blockchain data efficiently. Building on this, you will create the analytical tools to get deep insight out of this data. You will own the full system and stack. Collaborating with our world-class researchers, you will give the nascent staking industry the transparency it needs and deserves.

The job requires you to grow on daily engineering challenges at the verge of data, math, and web3 finance. You will own the whole vertical from digesting unsolved problems and building Proof of Concepts, towards designing elegant solutions translated into performant infrastructure and code.

Your work will directly contribute to the success of Staking Rewards. The data infrastructure is a core vertical on our mission, and we aspire to find young individuals, who have both the desire and the ability to challenge the given and build the future.

Ultimately, you will bridge the data gap between intransparent on-chain-economic activity and informed financial planning for a global user base of 400k monthly. We expect a high standard of execution.

The position is full-time.


  • Drive engineering efforts from architecting to execution: own the vertical
  • Solve and digest tricky engineering problems and pour them into code
  • Scale and optimize our data storage, aggregation and access
  • Create new & innovate upon established software
  • Collaborate with researchers to create data analytics and tooling
  • Own a comprehensive set of technical solutions from data quality to workflow challenges

      The ideal candidate for us has

      • 7+ years work experience as a software engineer or similar role
      • Experience in computer science, algorithms, software & database design
      • Experience in building enterprise-level data pipelines
      • In-depth understanding of finance & web3 economics
      • Strong mathematical skills
      • Confidence to take ownership in a challenging environment
      • An eye to detail, but is pragmatic and able to get things done fast
      • Creativity, curiosity and drive innovation autonomously

        Nice to have

        • Experience with GCP and Kubernetes
        • Fluent in SQL
        • Experience in Golang, Python and other languages
        • Experience with blockchain, DLT and web3 technologies (professional or as a hobby)
